Dear Ambassador I am Prof. Getahun Amare from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. I am an applied linguist by profession. I have taught linguistics and Amharic courses at BA, MA and PhD levels. I have also taught Amharic for foreigners for more than thirty years. Currently I am the head of the Department of Amharic. Starting from September 2024, I will have sabbatical leave for one year.
