Hi, Ethiopian embassy in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Greeting. I am Aklilu Assefa Tilahun, from Ethiopia. I am a third-year PhD student at Cagliari University, Italy. I planned to go to Ethiopia for Christmas, and I booked a plane ticket on December 8, 2024, and to return to Italy on January 21, 2025. When I was looking for cheap flights, unfortunately, I got a cheap ticket, which I had to transit between Riyadh (when going to Ethiopia from Italy) and Jeddah (when coming back to Italy from Ethiopia). Is it mandatory for me to get a visa to transit, or do I get a visa on arrival at the airport? I only stay 4 hours when going to Ethiopia and 13 hours and 45 minutes when returning from Ethiopia. Please help me; I need your help. I am very worried. I don't have another dollar to book. Thank you so much for your support and help.
