My name is Lemesa Oljira Joje, and I serve as English teacher and English Lab Technical or coordinator at Medhanelalem General Secondary School in Addis Ababa, country. Our school, established in 1932, serves a diverse group of students, providing high-quality education with a focus on academic excellence and holistic development. As part of our ongoing commitment to improving educational opportunities for our students, we are seeking to establish a dedicated English Language Lab within our school. The lab will play a crucial role in enhancing students' proficiency in English, providing them with the necessary tools to succeed in both their academic and professional futures. We believe that an English Language Lab will significantly improve the learning experience for our students by incorporating modern technology, interactive learning platforms, and multimedia resources. This facility will allow our students to practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in a controlled and engaging environment, which is essential for their overall language development. However, to achieve this vision, we require external support to help us cover the costs associated with setting up the lab. These costs include the purchase of computers, language software, audio-visual equipment, furniture, and other necessary resources. We are requesting a grant from the British Embassy to assist in covering the costs of this important initiative.
