I am writing to respectfully request your guidance regarding the authentication process of my PhD degree certificate obtained from Sunway University, Malaysia, for official use in the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. I intend to use my PhD degree certificate in Ethiopia, where the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education require authenticated academic documents. Based on the requirements communicated to me, the degree certificate must first be authenticated by the relevant authorities in Malaysia, specifically the Ministry of Education Malaysia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia, before it can be recognized and accepted by the Ethiopian authorities. In this regard, I kindly seek your esteemed office’s guidance on the appropriate procedures, requirements, and steps that need to be followed to ensure that my PhD degree certificate is properly authenticated and legally usable in Ethiopia. This initiative is part of a collaboration under the IAEA project with the Manufacturing Technology and Engineering Industry Research and Development Center (MTEIRDC). The online application for the business/workshop visa requires a company registration number. However, MTEIRDC is a governmental entity established by proclamation and does not possess a unique registration number. We kindly request your assistance in allowing the visa application to proceed without this requirement. Your support in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Dear Honorary Consulate General of Ethiopia to Malaysia, I have already applied and successfully obtained online Tourist visa (Single entry 30 days) for Malaysians as attached. Its validity is from 23 Oct till 22 Nov 2024. My dilemma lies in my flight on 15 October flying Saudia Airlines KUL to Jeddah to Addis Ababa to onwards Johannesburg South Africa. Arriving on Saudia SV421 at Addis Ababa Bole International on 15 October at 4.10am. My connection is Kenya Airways KQ401 to Nairobi to Johannesburg at Addis Ababa Bole International departure 15 October 10.20am. My query is that on Flight Transit at Addis Ababa Airport on 15 October, do I need a Tourist Visa? My applied and approved Visa only begins 23 October till 22 November 2024 (30 days) when I will officially enter your beautiful country Ethiopia as a Tourist for 1 month. Thus I didn't apply Visa on flight Transit at airport to include 15 October within 1 month Tourist Visa given. Please advise. Whether I must make a fresh new application for 1 month Visa duration that includes the Transit ie Visa starts from 15 October onwards till 1 month. Or this 1 month Visa be backdated to include 15 October till 30 days duration. Or no Visa is needed on Airport Transit premises. Please confirm my status? My flight Saudia Airlines SV835 from KUL to Jeddah to Addis Ababa to Nairobi to Johannesburg is on 14 October 2024 at 17:35. Sorry for inconvenience caused. My humble apologies offered.
